Beech trees suffered blight and were largely non existent in areas of New England shortly before I was born. I LOVE trees of all Varieties and these are STUNNING with an element of fairytales and romance! Thank you for making me aware that these beauties still EXIST!! Great capture, Henk! Either you did a lot of work cloning-out the "millions" of other photographers there - or you were there very late/very early?! Either way, nice shot!

Jack...no cloning. I was VERY early, with 2 other photographers. I arrived here at 5am, sunrise was at 5:40, the busloads arrive around 9am and stay at least till 7pm. But the road is closed now for traffic, which is a good thing!
